JLo Beauty launched in the US on January 1, 2021 in Sephora and on jlobeauty.com with skincare products, a skincare-makeup hybrid and a dietary supplement – all formulated with extra virgin olive oil, of course, as well as squalene, fermented oil and leaf extract to achieve the hallmark ‘JLo Glow’. In a quote from the gravity-defyer, herself: ‘Our tagline is, ‘Beauty has no expiration date ® ’ because to me, ageless isn’t just a mindset — you can feel youthful at any age and feel great, not just great for 50. The goal was to create luxurious but accessible skincare you can afford to use daily and products that follow you through life.’ According to WWD.com, industry sources estimated the collection would generate US$15 million in sales in its first three months on the market. This ain’t JLo’s first rodeo – she recently released her 25th fragrance, ‘Promise’. Her fragrance line has earned her a cool $2 billion in sales since 2002.
